MYCELIUM MYCOPACK (NEWLY INTRODUCED)

This project investigates mycelium strands which can help mitigate the amount of water, energy, and chemicals needed to create paper packaging products. The idea is to promote the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives using biodegradable materials like mycelium to reduce plastic production and  promote global awareness for a cleaner, more sustainable world. Our aim is to successfully bring one of the fastest rising sustainable technologies to UBC by introducing the use of small energy harvesting devices in students’ daily lives. Learn more

Our main goal is to produce cheaper, stronger and more sustainable concrete. Unlike the conventional concrete producers, we want to use mine waste with metal content in it as a base material to produce high quality concrete. Learn more
